Auto CAD 2D:

*Auto CAD for (Automatically Computer Aided Design)

*Defination of AutoCAD:

Automatically Design and drawing after making some process with the help of computer and plotter.

*Version of AutoCAD: (Rel-11,12,13,14,Fin-2000,Fin-2002,Tr-2004,Fin-2005,tr-2006,Tr2008,2009)

*Commands of AutoCAD:

There are four (4) way of commands.

1: Name of commands

2:Shortcut of commands

3: Use of commands

4: Syntax of commands.

1) LINE:--------L

This command is use to draw different objects.

Write L and press and give first point then second and so on.

2) Ortho:--------F8

This command is use to take straight line.

Press F8 for active ortho & press F8 for stop ortho.

3) Poli Line:--------PL

This command is use to draw the different objects with join line.

Write PL and press enter and give first point second and so on.

4) Polygon :--------pol

This command is use to draw the different Polygons.

Write Pol and press enter and give center point, then put its radius.

5) Rectangle:-------- Rec

This command is use to draw different rectangle.

Write REC and press enter and give first point then second.

5) Arc:--------A

This command is use to draw curve line.

Write A and press enter and give first point second and third.

6) Cercle:--------C

This command is use to draw cercle.

Writ C and press enter and give center point then put its radius or dia.

7) Spline:--------spl

This command is use to draw lrregular Curves

Write SPL and press enter and gove first point then sexond and third.

8) Ellipse:-------- El

This command is use to draw different size of ellipse.

Write EL and press enter and give first point then second and third.(in third point we can also give its value)

9) Insert Block:-------I

This command is use to paste files from different directiories.

Write I and pressenter and click on browse and select any file form any drive and click three time on screen.

10) MakeBlock:--------B

this command is use to save some part of file.

Write B and press enter and give file name and press ok and select object for saving and click on ok.

11) Point:--------PO

This command is use to draw different point on screen.

Write PO and press enter and click on screen.

12) Hatch:--------H

This command is use to set pattern in object.

Write H and press enter and click on swatch and select any pattern here and click on pick point, select any internal point of object and click right and see preview and set scale and angle and press ok

13) Hatch Edit:--------HE

This command is use to modify pattern in object.

Write HE and press enter and click on patern reset its scale and angle , also you can change pattern.

14) Region:--------REG

This command is use to join different separatwe object.

Write REG and press enter and select all object, and press right click.

15) Regen:--------RE

This command is use to reset zoom of object.

Write RE and press enter.

16) Text:--------T

This command is use to write lettering in deawing.

Write T and press enter.Give first point then second and write any thing in this window and set its properties and press ok.

17) Edit:--------ED

This command is use to modify text.

Write ED and press enter and select text, chang it.

18) Erase:--------E

This command is use to remove extra objects.

WriteE and press enter and select objects and press right click,

Object would clear.

19) Copy:--------CO

This command is use to dublicate objects.

Write CO and press enter and select objects and press right click,

Give point on screen for copying.

20) Mirror:--------MI

This command is use to Take copy object in reflection view.

Write MI and press enter and select objects and press right click,

Give point on screen for Reflection copy.

21) Offset:--------O

This command is use to take copy Object with specific distance.

Write O and press enter and select object and click for copying.

22) Array:--------AR

This command is use to take multiple copy of objects there are two type of array 1-Rectagular 2-Pollar.

1-Rectagular

This command is to take multiple copies with specific quantity and specific distance in row ande column form.

Write AR and press enter and select type of array. Then select object and press right click and give point value of row and column and press ok.

2-Pollar

This command is to take multiple copies with circul form.

Write Ar and press enter and select type of array.Then select object and press right click and give value for object and value for degree and press ok.

23) Move------M

This command is use to rotate object to one space to another space. Write M and press enter and select object and move it freehand or specific ditance.

24) Rotate------RO

This command is use to rotate object freely or specific degree.

Write Ro and press enter and select object and roftate it freehand or specific distence.

25) Scale------SC

This command is use to change scale (size) of object freely or specific value

Write Sc and Press enter snd select object and press right click if you want to take large size then put value greater then 1 otherwise less then 1.

26) Strech------S

This command is use to stretchor move any object.

Write S and press enter and select object and press righht click and stretch it freely or specific distance.

27) Length------LEN

This command is use to check distance of complete line.

Write LEN and press enter and select object and press right click.

28) Trim------Tr

This command is use to remove extra lines.

Write TR and press enter and select object and press right click, then click on extra lines.

29) Extend------EX

This command is use to complete the incomplete lines.

Write EX and press enter and select that line from line to join and press right click and click on incomplete line.

30) Break------BR

This command is use to cut the line between any two points.

Write BR and press enter and select any two points.

31) Chamfer------CHA

This command is use to cut of rectangular object.

Write CHA and press enter and write D and jpress enter and give first chamfer value then second value and press duble enter and click on lines.

32) Fillet------ F

This command is use to round crners of frectangular object.

Write F and press enter and write F and press enter and give fillet Value and select lines.

33) Explode------X

This command is use to do separate for joint object

Write X and jpress enter and select object and press right click.

34) Pedit------PE

This command is use to do join for separate objects.

Write PE and press enter and select any one line and press right click then select all lines and press right click.

35) Distance ------DI

This command is use to check distance between two any points.

Write DI and press enter and select any two points on line.

36) List------LI

This command is use to check complete detail(angle values on X-Y-Z-axis) of object.

Write LI and press enter and select line and press enter right click.

37) Match------MA

This command is use to match properties of object one to an other object.

Write MA and press enter and select first line with match second and then click on second object.

38) Pan------P

This command is use to move secreen one to another space.

Write P and press enter and move screen freely.

39) Align------AL

This command is use to align objects.

Write AL and press enter and select object with we align to another first point then second point and press double enter.

40) Calculator------ CL

This command is use to calculate the different value.

41) Arrea------AA

This command is use to take area of any rectangular objects.

Write AA and press enter then click on first second third and forth points then press right click.

42) Donut------DO

This Command is use to draw cylinder with specific inside & outside diameter.

Write DO and press enter then put its inside value then put outside value.

43) Zoom Rea-Time------Z

This command is use to take large and small zoom of any object.

Write Z and press double enter and adjust zoom of object.

44) Zoom Window------Z

This command is use to take zoom from any specific location.

Write Z and press enter and select any specific object.

45) Zoom Extent------ EZ

This command is use to set the full preview on screen.

Write Z and press enter then write E and press enter.

46) Zoom ALL------Z A

This command is use to set the normal preview on screen.

Write Z and press enter then write A and press enter.

47) Object Snap ----- OS

This commad is used to snap object pikc coner or midpoint of any object and used to draw line in angle

48) Option -----------OP

This command is used to steup of interface of Auto CAD

49) Mulltiline ----ML

This command is used to draw two or more the two lines

50) Constration line -----XL

This command is used to draw a line which have no starting ending point

51) RAYLINE------RAY

This command is used to draw a line which have starting point but no ending point

52) Divide -----DIV

This command is used to divide any object to many parts

53) Write Block ----w

This command is used to mak a new file one object in drawing

54) Drict Text ------DT

This command used to create a new text

55) Text Style ----ST

This command is used to chage text style

56) Arc Text ----ATEXT

This command is use to create a Text in cerculer or Arc shape

57) Join ----J

This command is used to jonit two lines

58) Line Type -----LT

This command is used to make different linetype

59) Line Type Scale ---LTS

This command is used to open scale different lines

60) Line Width ----LW

This command used to give new width any line

61) Layers -----LA

This command is used to make a new layer

62) View ----V

This command is used to Orthogaphic &isomatric Views

63) Change Properties ----CH/PR

This command is used to change properties of any object = color, linewidth ,Linetype

A object which sees on three sides a single time is called 3 objects.

· Commands of AutoCAD 3D

There are foure (4) way of commands 1-name of commands, 2-shortcut of commands, 3-uses of commands, 4-Syntax of commands.

64) View------(V) (Pick from tollbar)

This command is use to see the object on 6 views on 2D, and 4 views on 3D.

Draw object and click on view toolbar to see details of object.

65) Extrude------(Ext)

This command is use to take height of join object with specific value.

Write EXT and press enter and select object then press right click and put value and press double enter.

66) Shade------(SHA)

This command is use to give shade of any wireframe object.

Write SHA and press enter.

67) Subtract------(SU)

This command is use to subtract one object form second object.

Write SU and press Enter and select first object and click right then select second object and click right.

68) User Co-ordinate System------(UCS)

This command is use to change curser’s position along x=axis

Write UCS and press enter and select axis like X,Y or Z press enter then write x and press double enter and for normal position of curse then writeX and press four (4) times enter.

69) Rotate 3D------(Pick from Tollbar / manu bar)

This command is use to rotate 3d objects.

First we will gof to modify and click on 3D operation then select Rotate 3D and select object and press right click and put axis like X,Y,Z and press double then give value of rotation in degree form live 90 deg etc. And press enter.

70) Union------(UNI)

This command is use to join 3D object.

Write UNI And press Enter and selectr objects and press right click.

71) 3D Polly ------(3P)

This command is use to draw object n 3D on different angels.

Write 3P and press enter and give first point then second then third and so on.

72) Revolve Surf ------ (Revsurf)

This command is use to draw object in circle shape in 3D.

Write Surftsb 1 and press enter and give value of objects like 200, and press enter . write revsurf and press enter then select object which is to rotate and then select second object and give value of its angles and press double enter.

73) Render------(RR)

This command is use to finishing and for finalizing setting

For going this tool we will go to tool bar and select this toolbar.

These command mostly use in Auto Cad And we provide these command for Student of STEP IN TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
